{"product_id":"juice-lubes-low-viscosity-dot-5-1-disc-brake-fluid","title":"JUICE LUBES - LOW VISCOSITY DOT 5.1 DISC BRAKE FLUID","description":"Low Viscosity DOT 5.1 is our top-performing, fully synthetic premium brake fluid for DOT-based systems. Our LV fluid delivers a more responsive lever feel and sharper braking compared with standard fluid. It also remains more stable across a wider temperature range, with improved performance particularly in cooler climates.\nTested at World Cup downhill races and white-knuckle summer Morzine laps, DOT 5.1 LV works with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 glycol-ether-based fluid systems.\nThis fluid has an ultra-high boiling point and excellent thermal stability, helping to prevent vapour lock during intense braking.\nThe low viscosity means less lever input, which translates to less fatigue or “arm pump” on long alpine descents or in race situations where performance is critical.\nEngineered for performance and low maintenance, our fluid has a long service life and excellent resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation, meaning more time on the trail and less time in the workshop.\nDon’t forget: Brake Fluid is good but it won’t compensate for badly bled brakes, rubbish rotors and pooped pads. Always keep your brakes tip top so Brake Fluid can work its magic.\nPlease note: Not suitable for DOT 5 silicone based or mineral based systems.\nDOT oil can damage paintwork and must be washed off with water immediately. It’s also important to keep the container tightly sealed to avoid the absorption of moisture.\n\nExtremely high dry boiling point\nZero-fade performance\nPrevents foaming and overheating\nImproved lever feel\nFaster hydraulic response – pistons and levers move more freely and faster\nIncreased modulation\nLong fluid life\nExcellent performance in cold conditions\nStable through a wide temperature range\nLubricates and conditions seals\n\n \nSPECIFICATIONS\nDry equilibrium reflux boiling point: 274°C\nWet equilibrium reflux boiling point: 184°C\nDensity @20°C (g\/ml): 1.067\nViscosity @-40°C (cSt): 690\nViscosity @100°C (cSt): 2.04","brand":"Wide Open","offers":[{"title":"Dot 5.1 Brake Fluid Low Viscosity - 120ml","offer_id":42443307974711,"sku":"JLDLV1","price":24.99,"currency_code":"NZD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0373\/4853\/files\/6113p40.jpg?v=1789470735","url":"https:\/\/www.bikefit.co.nz\/products\/juice-lubes-low-viscosity-dot-5-1-disc-brake-fluid","provider":"Bikefit Marlborough","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
