The IceToolz Fork Cone Remover E253 is a professional workshop tool designed to safely remove headset crown races (fork cones) up to 1-1/2" from bicycle fork steerers without scratching or damaging the crown. It features a four-chisel design made of tough Cr-Mo steel.

  • Material: Built from durable Chrome-Molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel.
  • Capacity: Fits standard and tapered steerer tubes up to 1-1/2 inches (compatible with 1", 1-1/8", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2").
  • Compact Size: Measures roughly 98 x 90 x 17 mm with a weight of about 0.41 kg.

How to Use

  • Position the tool's four chisel edges evenly around the base of the crown race.
  • Tap the tool progressively to wedge the chisels equally under all sides.
  • Finish the removal by gently striking with a rubber mallet once the race is adequately supported and lifted.
