The Tern Magura MT5e Brake Lever with 950mm Light Wire (SKU: BKTNP596) is an e-bike specific component primarily used on Tern GSD cargo bikes.

  • Integrated Safety Features: This assembly features a built-in mechanical switch designed for high-speed S-Pedelecs. When you pull the lever, it activates the brake light and simultaneously triggers a motor cut-off signal to stop the motor drive instantly. 
  • Extended Cable Length: While standard aftermarket Magura MT5e levers typically come with a short 150mm HIGO cable, this specialized Tern version features an extended 950mm wire to properly route through cargo bike frames without requiring extra extensions. 
  • Ergonomics & Build: Built using a lightweight Carbotecture housing and an aluminium lever blade featuring a rounded ball-end to reduce the risk of injury during falls
