The Wheeltop EDS TX RA7000-GS is a wireless electronic groupset for 2x road drivetrains. It combines carbon-fibre shifter lever blades and carbon-fibre rear derailleur components with a dedicated electronic front derailleur and BR-RA7800 hydraulic disc brake callipers.
The rear derailleur can be configured for 3- to 14-speed cassettes through the Wheeltop app. Individual gear positions can be fine-tuned to match the spacing of the selected cassette, allowing the system to work with a range of 2x road drivetrain configurations.
Wireless electronic shifting
The shifters communicate wirelessly with the front and rear derailleurs, removing the need for mechanical gear cables. Bluetooth is used for setup and adjustment through the Wheeltop app, while ANT+ connectivity allows integration with compatible cycling computers.
Carbon-fibre components
The RA7000-GS version uses carbon-fibre shifter lever blades and carbon-fibre components in the rear derailleur to reduce weight. The hydraulic brake levers have an 8 mm reach-adjustment range and use replaceable CR2032 batteries.
Configurable cassette compatibility
Cassette speed, initial calibration and individual gear positions are configured through the Wheeltop app. The rear derailleur supports cassettes with a 10T or 11T smallest sprocket and a maximum sprocket between 30T and 36T.
The included braze-on front derailleur is designed for 2x chainring combinations. It supports an outer chainring up to 53T and a maximum 16T difference between the inner and outer chainrings.
Integrated rechargeable batteries
The rear derailleur contains an 800 mAh rechargeable battery, while the front derailleur uses a 500 mAh battery. The system provides approximately 20,000 shifts per charge and is rated for up to 800 charging cycles.
BR-RA7800 hydraulic brakes
The included BR-RA7800 flat-mount callipers use a CNC-machined unibody construction, twin 21 mm ceramic pistons and mineral-oil hydraulic lines. They are compatible with 140 mm and 160 mm brake rotors.
